Šťáhlavy - The Kozel Chateau

Kozel - celkový pohled

The hunters´Neoclassical-style chateau was built in 1784 -1789 for J. V. Černín of Chudenice, then the Supreme Master of the Hounds of the Kingdom of Bohemia. The chateau premises include four-wing luxurious living quarters, a chapel, theatre, footmen´s lodgings, horse stables and riding school. The chateau is suttounded by a spacious natural park.

The Improvement of the Tourist Portal of the Pilsen Region came into being as an initiative of the Pilsen Region and is being implemented and managed by the staff of the Department of Tourism and the Department of Computer Science. The project is aimed at the promotion of a comprehensive range of services and the development of tourism and tourist services throughout the Pilsen Region.
