Trip around Kozel Chateau

An easy, roughly two-kilometre-long educational trail leads around Kozel hunting lodge in the Pilsen region. On it, you will meet not only trees, animals and plants, but also forest ghosts and goblins.

Children Theatres

Where to go to the theatre with children in Pilsen? You may go to the “Špalíček” puppet theatre, jhe JoNáš theatre in Pilsen’s Burghers’ Hall, or “The Hut” (V Boudě) theatre.

Pilsen Puppet Museum

Pilsen Puppet Museum in the centre of the city tells the story of puppetry from its nomadic beginnings to the present day. When you are in Pilsen, don’t miss it.

Archery and Historical Games at Velhartice Castle

Also another Bohemian-Forest castle, Velhartice, has children on its mind. Throughout the holidays, they can practice archery on the castle grounds. You can shoot from a longbow, various types of crossbows, or even a small trebuchet.

The highest-situated royal castle in Bohemia with a beautiful view of Bohemian Forest offers special children’s tours. Children are really excited about the interactive tours here.

Into a Fairy Tale – in a Horse-Drawn Carriage

The family-run stables Kovárna Kamýk offer the possibility of horseback riding or rides in a historic carriage or a luxurious landau carriage for the whole family.

The Secret of Cinderella’s Shoe

Take a trip to Švihov Castle and enjoy a tour dedicated to Cinderella, who lived at Švihov Castle in the movie fairy tale “Three Nuts for Cinderella”.
