The Springs under Žďár Hill
According to legend, Bishop Wolfgang passed through here in 973 when he went to Prague to consecrate the first Czech bishop Dětmar (Thietmar). From the top of Žďár, where the chapel of St. Wolfgang with the “Bolfánek” lookout tower stands today, Wolfgang was supposed to bless the local people and also take a bath in the spring at the foot of the hill. In the 18th century, a chapel was built over the spring, then a bath house, and finally a chateau.
