WW2 Fortifications

The defensive objects on the line of Manětín, Rabštejn, Stříbro, Úterský Brook, Trpísty, Holýšov and Merklín are referred to as the Pilsen Line. After the German occupation, many fortifications were destroyed, but some of them were preserved. These are mainly light fortification objects codenamed ŘOP vz. 37, popularly known as “řopík”. Thanks to the work of enthusiasts, several of them have been reconstructed and open to the public.
