Hromnice Lake

The Hromnice Lake natural monument near the village of Hromnice, north of Pilsen, will surprise you with its unusual reddish colour. Although it is a natural monument, it was artificially created as a remnant of a slate quarry.

Rocking Stones near Žihle

The rocking stones and giant boulders near Žihle in the northern Pilsen district have attracted people’s attention since ancient times. Some people are fascinated by their size and shape and others claim that they radiate a special beneficial energy.

Prusík’s Spring

Do you want to know what the mineral spring with the highest carbon dioxide content in the Czech Republic tastes like? Come to Konstantinovy Lázně and look for Prusík’s Spring in the local park. If you like it, you can even soak in it for a therapeutic carbon dioxide bath.

Lomeček near Mrákov

The Pilsen Region has many flooded quarries on its list, but this small stone quarry will attract the attention of many diving enthusiasts.

Odlezly (Potvorov) Lake

Even in the northern Pilsen district, you can find a large number of interesting natural spots and monuments. Among the most famous and undoubtedly the most original is the Odlezly (Potvorov) Lake. This unique body of water can be found between Žihle and Mladotice near the railway line.

Mysterious Boulders at the Bear Chapel

The mysterious and important natural monument St. Bernard can be found on the ridge running north from the top of Lišák Hill above the road between Nýrsko and Všeruby.

Woodland Peat Bog Podkovák

The picturesque, albeit inextensive educational nature trail Podkovák is located near the village Lesná in the Tachov district of Bohemian Forest. You will surely love the view of several small peat lakes that you will get during the trip.

Peculiar Landscape near Kamenec

Do you want to experience a landscape reminiscent of Albanian wilderness? Head to the village of Kamenec, located north of Radnice in the Rokycany district, which is famous for its former mineral plant and the traces of mining activities in its surroundings.
