Liberation Festival Pilsen

Every year, the City of Pilsen hosts the Liberation Festival, where people from all over the world come to celebrate, together with the inhabitants of the city and military veterans, the liberation of Czechoslovakia by the Allied forces in May 1945.

Chodland Festival and St Lawrence Pilgrimage

For more than half a century, the famous Chodské slavnosti (Chodland Festival) has been held every August in Domažlice, attracting tens of thousands of visitors to the Chodland metropolis every year and being the most visited folklore festival in Bohemia.

Pilsner Fest

In Pilsen, the first weekend in October is traditionally marked by the celebration of the beer that the whole world knows. The city centre and the Plzeňský Prazdroj (Pilsner Urquell) brewery is alive with a rich musical show and entertainment. You simply do not want to miss it.

Industry open

Discover the industrial attractions of Pilsen and the Pilsen Region. Visit unique and otherwise inaccessible places, for example, the glassworks in Annín or to the Bohemian Forrest hydroelectric power plant.

Summer Baroque Festival

The crucial part of the Západočeské baroko (Baroque in West Bohemia) project is the popular Letní barokní festival (Summer Baroque Festival), the main stream of which consists of several comprehensive festivals in important Baroque sites of the Pilsen Region.

Sun in Glass

Are you a beer lover? Then come to the festival of microbreweries Slunce ve skle (Sun in Glass), which has been taking place for several years in mid-September on the premises of the Purkmistr microbrewery at the historic village square in Pilsen suburb of Černice.
