Pilsen Historical Underground

The nearly 800-metre-long tour will take you through a labyrinth of corridors, cellars and wells. Thanks to the exhibited objects, which were mostly found in the local wells, you will also get a glimpse into the secrets of everyday mediaeval life, learn how ice and food were stored in the past, what role the underground played during the siege and see the historic waterworks from the first half of the 16th century, the best preserved building of its kind in the Czech Republic.

At the end of the tour, those over 18 years of age will receive a ‘pivenka’ – a beer voucher, which can be exchanged for 0.3l of Pilsner Urquell beer in the Na Spilce, U Salzmannů or Na Parkánu restaurants.
