Nebílovy Chateau

Baroque architecture, ceiling paintings by Antonín Tuvora, exhibitions and the unforgettable atmosphere of the chateau. All this and much more is on offer at Nebílovy Castle, a Viennese-like palace planted in the Bohemian countryside that is definitely worth a visit.

Přimda Castle

The ruins of Přimda Castle stand on top of a rocky ridge above the town of the same name in the northern part of the Upper Palatinate Forest. Only the remains of the towers of the castle that once served as a royal prison can be visited today.

Radyně Castle

It would be hard to find a more typical landmark of the Pilsen Region. The royal castle of Radyně was built in 1356–1361 during the reign of the Bohemian King and Emperor of the Roman Empire Charles IV. The castle was named Karlskrone(Charles’ Crown) in his honour and is still a popular trip destination.

Velhartice Castle

The Velhartice State Castle and Chateau is one of the most romantic structures in Bohemian Forest. It is located between the towns of Klatovy and Sušice on a rocky promontory surrounded by the Ostružná River. The importance of the castle is evidenced by the fact that the Bohemian crown jewels were secretly stored here in the 15th century.

The Royal Castle of Kašperk

Kašperk (Karlsberg) Castle, built by order of the Bohemian King and Roman Emperor Charles IV, is located in a picturesque corner of Bohemian Forest, not far from the town of Kašperské Hory. The view of the highest-situated castle in Bohemia is truly fabulous.

Rabí Castle

Rabí Castle was built around 1350 as a guard fortress, towering over the Otava River. Today, the castle offers not only guided tours, but also various cultural events and is a popular tourist destination for visitors of all ages.

The Hammer Mill in Dobřív
